I thought last weekend was bad...BUT....

...this morning when I opened the door I PUSHED the snow with the screen door! I took a tape measure out and there was 16" on the porch! The snow plow went through about 8 am this morning then a guy came out to plow us out (we put our name on his list last year) and he went plow first into our ditch! He thought the driveway was on the WEST side of the mailbox! OOPS! (Should have taken a picture of that but didn't think about it! LOL)

So we are snowed in with two boys that have ADHD...heaven help us all! My grandson came and stayed the night and I doubt we will be able to get him home. They are talking at least another 5"! So we will be looking for extra snow pants so they can go outside! LOL Just so we can keep our sanity for the day!

A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST /6 PM CST/ THIS EVENING. SNOW THIS MORNING WILL TAPER OFF BY THIS AFTERNOON. NORTHEAST WINDS INCREASING TO 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 40 MPH WILL CREATE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW THAT WILL SEVERELY IMPACT TRAVEL TODAY. TOTAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS SHOULD RANGE FROM 7 TO 12 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS. A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW... SLEET... AND ICE ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. STRONG WINDS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE. THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS OR IMPOSSIBLE. (This came off from weather.com for our area.)
