triple tie a knot in the end and clip close.
13. Run ribbon through top hole and add a large filligree brad top. (You can use bead chain for this instead and tie a small ribbon through the hole. I couldn’t find any to use so used the ribbon instead. You could also purchase a plain necklace at WalMart to put this on.)
14. It’s ready to wear!
On mine I wrote be happy in black but it’s hard to read through the beads so I would suggest not doing this. L
You can use ANY of the hodge podge pieces to make necklaces, bracelets, earrings. I plan on making more to give out at gifts to family members for birthdays, etc. It’s a cute and inexpensive gift for those you love as well! If you would like to purchase one let me know. I will be selling them for $7.50 each (necklaces only at this point). You can ask for specific colors but be aware of the colors available in the Felt Fushion kits (Only Orange, Olive Green, Pink Passion, Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Pretty in Pink).
Times are Tough
As the SU year comes to an end it has been rough for everyone this past year. Just to keep you up dated, SU has had a reduction in staffing due to the slow down in this rough economy. Shelli was sad to announce the downsizing within the company from the top down. I know that my family has been personally affected by this crisis with lay offs – James for four months, Travis permanently and now me (minimum of two weeks, could be longer depending on GM). Please be aware that with tough times come tough decisions. I will no longer be handing out Customer/ Hostess Punch cards until the economy turns around. I will honor any that you may have in process. Please understand, this decision doesn’t come lightly but, with the loss of sales and income, it’s become necessary to take this step.
