Trying to do some catching up on scrapbooking!

I am trying to catch up a little at a time with my digital scrapbooking. Here is the layouts I did today. This was Jasmine's ninth b-day party this summer!

My Digital Studio Design Contest!

Date: October 1-November 15, 2010

Stampin' Up! invites YOU to participate in our first ever digital design contest using My Digital Studio and Stampin' Up!'s digital downloads! The My Digital Studio Design contest was created to recognize the amazing digital design skills of our talented, creative demonstrators and customers! The contest is open to all demonstrators and customers who have access to My Digital Studio in the US and Canada; five demonstrators and five customers will be selected to win. To enter the contest you will need to design one digital card and two single-page layouts using ONLY My Digital Studio product. Submit all samples along with an official entry form and photo release form (if applicable) to MDSContest@stampinup.com.

Act IV - Overcoming Nos

Act IV is all about overcoming Nos...Hard Nos....Soft Nos...

Hard Nos are a definite NO! They just are not interested...period!

Soft Nos are kind of a hemming/hawing NO...they just aren't sure at this time, not confident in their abilities, etc.

Nos are for both booking and recruiting! Some may book, book, book but they are just not interested in being a demonstrator. Some may be willing to do both.

We must look at the positive with the negative! They are NOT turning down YOU but the product/service. It's NOT to be taken personally, even though we, as humans, hate rejection.

And, of course, there is the opposite end of the spectrum...YES! This is so exciting when people say YES to booking and/or recruiting! They are excited about what you are sharing with them...and they want to share too!

Act 3...My 5 Whys and Roadblock Busters

The first two challenges this two weeks was to do a 5 Whys and then come up with Roadblock Busters to get "over the roadblock(s)".

Here's mine...

The others are to read two chapters of the Demo Manual and implement a business organization system.

Tonight I put on my desktop organization folders as they suggested and a few more besides. As I begin moving my documents, samples, etc. around into the new folders it should make it easier to become prepared for workshop, classes, etc. Woohoo! Now...the big task...this weekend is to ORGANIZE the stamp room!

I have been working on Act II today and revising Act I so I thought I would post it all together and then go from there! I am doing this using My Digital Studio (MDS) which is so easy to use!

There you have it! As I continue to work on the recruit crew stuff I will post from here...once it's done I plan on having it printed for future reference! :)
