Canvas Decor

Carol and I went to Archivers today and made these awesome canvas decor items! It was a lot of fun and I told her I would love to have a class to do this.

This is mine, using a photo of the whole
family taken June 27 this year!

This one is Carol's, using a picture from their
trip to the bridge to watch the fireworks
over July 4th weekend!

This one was made by another woman
attending the class...
very classy with the
gorgeous purple flowers and stripes!

Archivers - Hero Arts Stamps - Colorful Creation Cards Class

Carol and I went to Archivers in Fort Wayne on June 12th for this class. Neat to learn some new things and use some different materials. All cards used shimmery cardstock as the card itself. We used shimmer spray on the panels on all the cards. This was kind of neat but messy! Glad they had color catchers!

Shimmer spray on panel, flowers and then on stamp once we put the Distress ink on. That was different!
Shimmer spray on panels and flowers. Embossing the reverse image stamps and then sprayed shimmer where the flowers are in the embossed area. Embossed the words too.

We added stickles to all the flowers on all the cards in the centers to give another layer look. This was a cool class and now I know more about using shimmer sprays! SU just brought them in this year...only four colors but who knows!
